Berlitz Canada · 2026
Six weeks, six lessons, and the teachers in front of the camera.
A video-led campaign for Berlitz Canada: six weekly lesson films, a sixteen-second intro in three formats and ten-second shorts shot with Berlitz teachers across Calgary and Toronto, in English and French, run twice in 2026 with a third edition in December.

The challenge
Berlitz Canada wanted a reason to follow the brand for six weeks rather than a reason to click once. The offer was a free challenge: one short lesson a week, then the course. The content had to be made with the people who teach, in the centres and on the streets they teach in, and it had to work as a feed series and as a paid campaign at the same time.
The approach
Six lesson films, one per week, each between 73 and 99 seconds: a Berlitz teacher on camera, a situation from Canadian life, the phrase at three levels of formality. A sixteen-second intro in landscape, square and portrait opens the series, and ten-second shorts, one per teacher, run as teasers in square and portrait. Everything exists in English and French.
The first edition ran from February 2026, the second from September, and the third is scheduled for 7 December in English and 14 December in French. The posts sit in the Canada social calendar as one of its parallel streams, and the lesson films live on the Berlitz Canada YouTube channel.

The results
The series became the baseline the later creator campaign is measured against: in the six weeks to 12 October 2026, twenty-three Six Week Challenge posts ran alongside the Sketches Between Languages series. Sign-up figures for the challenge are Berlitz Canada’s and are not published here.
